Mrs. Sree Lakshmi
I am currently an assistant teacher at MLC working both mornings and afternoons. I have been working at MLC for the past eight years and just love it!  I was born in the Republic of India and later moved to the United States to join my family. I am married and have a grown son named Krishna who is 28 and a student at the University. I am delighted to be a part of the MLC staff and truly enjoy working with the children. I share the same principles as the other teachers which is to provide an environment that facilitates intellectual development for all students. I was fortunate to have been provided with a good education from India and spent 3 years at the University. I am hoping to begin my Montessori Training in January 2012. My other interests are: gardening, child development, exercise and cooking.

Mrs. Briana Cousins
Mrs. Briana Cousins is beginning her third year teaching at MLC as is also a certified Montessori teacher.  Originally from Huntsville , Mrs. Cousins received her B.S. degree in Business in 1999 from the University of North Alabama.  When working in Birmingham, she received her MBA in 2005 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  She is married to Chris and has two amazing children.  Life experiences and an inspiring family lead Mrs. Cousins to evaluate her life goals.  Passionate about child education and development she decided to make a transition back to her original area of interest – early childhood education.  Mrs. Briana Cousins began volunteering for MLS in early 2009.  Enthusiastic to work with children while utilizing the Montessori philosophy, she began working at MLS in October of 2009. She has completed her training to receive her Montessori Certification in Early Childhood Education. Along with spending time with her family, she enjoys working out and reading.

I am beginning my third year as the afternoon assistant teacher at MLC. I am originally from Huntsville, married with 2 children, and 3 grandchildren. I am very excited as well as dedicated to working with children again as I previously worked 8 years in my Licensed Day Care Home while living in Illinois and 4 years at Ann's Day Care here in Huntsville. I feel very blessed to be a part of the wonderful staff at the MLC and to work with children again and watch them grow and learn. I also enjoy Crafts, Cooking, and Cosmetology.

Mrs. Holly Williams

My name is Holly Williams and I was born and raised in Hazel Green, Alabama.  I am married to a former marine and we have two children ages three and six.  I became interested in working with children during my husband’s enlistment since we had to travel and I began taking on-line courses for early childhood development.  I learned about the Montessori program through family and instantly admired the positive influence it has on young children.  I have been at the Montessori Learning Center for almost one year and I have grown to respect the life lessons taught more and more everyday.  I have been fortunate enough to receive training in pre-k curriculum and earn valuable certifications during my time at MLC.  I look forward to further my education in child development and to obtain a Montessori Certification. I sincerely love working with children and I believe we as teachers play a crucial role in the early years of their development.  I am very grateful to have the opportunity to work with such outstanding teachers at MLC !
